Set Up Brands and Models

02-07-2025
NOTE
Only Admins can configure Brand and Model. Since Models are a subcategory of Brands, you cannot configure Models without first creating a Brand.
We recommend registering your data in the following order: Brand → Model.

1. Understanding Brand and Model

[Brand and Model] serves as the database for collecting Sales, Price, Inventory, and Display Status data. All additions and updates to the brands and models you want to collect data on are managed within this tab.

Therefore, if you enable any one of the four In-Store Data Collection features, the Brand and Model tab will also be activated.

When configuring the list of models to be collected in Sales, Price, Inventory, or Display Status, if you cannot find the desired product category or model name, please return to the [Brand and Model] tab and review your settings.

2. Registering Brand and Model

Registering/Adding a Brand

  1. Go to Dashboard > [Brand and model] > [Brand]
  2. Enter the brand name you want to add, then click the [Add] button.
  3. Complete the remaining settings, such as uploading a logo image and selecting whether it is your own brand.

💡 What is a company-owned brand❔

  • When a brand is designated as an own brand, it is always displayed at the top of the list.
  • In particular, within the Display Status feature, own brands are highlighted in share of shelf and model penetration analyses.
