By understanding the concepts of workplaces and properties, you could get an overall idea of how you could utilize our service. Please complete workplace properties settings before adding workplaces.
A workplace is where employees work. Each workplace has its unique location and used as a check-in point for attendance, away and return, move, and arrival.
Workplace properties is information that characterizes the registered workplaces. Default properties provided by our service include workplace name, code, address, distributor, state and city, district, and representative photos of workplaces. Admins can also add custom properties if needed.
City, distributor, district, and custom properties can be entered when registering a workplace, and you can select options for properties that are pre-registered.
This means state and city of the country where your workplace is located. Register the options according to the official standard of each country (e.g., Seoul). It can be useful for indicating where the office is located when adding a workplace.
Registering state and city
1. Dashboard > Workplaces > Manage workplaces
2. From [Settings] tab and select Workplace properties > State and city.
3. Select [Add/Edit] from State. Enter a state name and click [Add].
4. Select a state and click [Add/Edit]. Enter a state name and click [Add].
5. It will be provided as an optional input item when registering a workplace.
If your company uses information for workplaces based on location and not state and city, try district.
Registering district
Distributor means a company that distributes goods sold by your company.
Registering district
1. Dashboard > Workplaces > Manage workplaces
2. From [Settings] tab and select Workplace properties > Distributor.
3. Enter a distributor name and click [Add].
4. You can upload a logo image for the registered distributor.
5. You can select a channel for the registered distributor. To select a channel, register options for channels in advance.
6. It will be provided as an optional input item when registering a workplace.
Custom properties are properties that administrators can create and use when there are additional properties to use in addition to the previously described work location properties (eg store hours, store phone number).
Registering custom perperties
1. Dashboard > Workplaces > Manage workplaces
2. From [Settings] tab and select Workplace properties > Custom properties.
3. Select [Add properties].
4. Enter a property name. (e.g., Store operating hours, Store contact no.)
5. Select a data type.◦ Select from options : A type to pre-register options and select one among them.◦ Enter manually : A type to input data directly when registering property information. (e.g., Store contact no. - enter manually)◦ Image : A type to upload an image when registering property information.◦ Document : A type to upload a document when registering property information.
6. Set who can view the data. Only admins(default) or leaders who have the permission to view can view custom properties.
7. Set who can edit the data. Only admins(default) and leaders with the permission to edit can edit custom properties.
