NOTEOnly Leaders and Admins can create location check rules. If you don’t see the Check Location feature, go to [Feature settings] and make sure it’s turned on.
Check Location Feature Setup >
1. Create a Rule to Send Location Check Requests
▪️ Title
Enter a title to differentiate this rule from others. You can create multiple rules.
▪️ Location verification recipients
- All employees of the company — Can only be selected by Admins.
- Specific groups or job titles — Rules apply dynamically. If new employees are added to the selected groups or job titles, they’ll be included automatically.
- Specific employees — Requests are sent only to the selected individuals. You’ll need to manually add any new hires.
- Should requests be sent to employees who are scheduled to work but haven’t clocked in yet? — Choose whether to include them.
▪️ Frequency of requests
- Start date — Can be set starting from the following day.
- End date
- No end date — The rule continues until it’s deleted or manually ended.
- How many requests per day?→ A random number within the min-max range will be chosen and sent daily. If min and max are the same, that exact number will be used.
▪️ Response method
- Within how many minutes should employees respond?
- → After the set time, employees can no longer respond, and the request will be marked as “No response.”
- Should face verification be required when the employee responds?
- → Employees must take a facial photo to verify their identity.
▪️ Notifications
- Recipients — Sent to the Leader of the employee’s group. If none is assigned, it goes to the parent group’s Leader.
- Notification types — Only selected types will be sent:
- Responded from workplace
- Responded from a non-workplace location
- Location verification declined
- No response (if not answered within the set time)
